Captain Guy.
Started playing with boats and learning to sail from around 7 years old with Wayfarer's, Mirror's, and Norfolk Broads cruisers as well as with powerboats. Left college with is HTEC in Mechanical and Production Engineering he then went into the offshore survey, hydrographic, Precision navigation, ROV, Diving and Survey industry working in the majority of the seas and oceans of the world. After a career of over 30 years living and working on or with the sea, also working with ship owners and operators, even taking his vacations on the sea through chartering yachts in some of the worlds exotic location. Guy and his life partner and wife Julie Ann decided to embark on a joint adventure and acquired Miss Elle in 2014. By combining his life experience of working and sailing at sea. Nirvana for Guy is Sailing with Miss Elle. He loves to teach and train guests and friends so that they can all enjoy the experience and learning if they so wish, or they just relax and soak up the experience. Guy is a qualified IYT recreational instructor but this is backed up with being an MCA approved examiner for Master of Yachts commercial qualifications as well as being a Master of Yachts for both Sail and Power.

Although relatively recent to the world of sailing, Julie Ann has a true affinity with the sea. Starting out in public relations, Julie Ann went on to build her own company with corporate teambuilding, being the first Drum Circle Facilitator in the United Arab Emirates, being an executive coach and 'the power behind the throne'. Julie Ann is an exceptional person on many levels. She has also proven her metal in bad weather with a solid constitution that is a fantastic benefit when the weather gets a little marginal. Julie Ann started sailing with Guy in 2005 and took her competent crew with IYT. She is an inspirational cook when required and always sees the positive. Her wisdom combined with a sense of fun brings a partnership that is always a source of enjoyment.

Julie Ann is a very spiritual person also has many hidden talents including using cards to provide insight into your life, through her skills as an executive coach she is happy to share a consultation with you. Maybe while at anchor in a quiet bay with a glass of your favourite beverage. Meanwhile, Guy can do the man stuff.
